Roblox can be played on Oculus Quest and Quest 2, but only with a hack. Because Roblox isn’t available for Quest or Quest 2, you’ll have to use Oculus Link Mode with the headset. In this situation, a link cable, a specific type of high-quality USB-C cable, is used to connect the Quest to a PC. Any compatible third-party cable or the official Oculus Quest link cable can be used. Roblox runs on your computer, and the computer transmits data to the Quest via the link cable, allowing you to play Roblox in virtual reality.

What if Roblox isn’t available in VR mode?
There are a few possible issues if you’ve successfully connected your Quest or Quest 2 to your PC and are playing Roblox in virtual desktop mode on the headset, but you don’t see an option to enable VR.
The world does not support virtual reality: Not all Roblox games support virtual reality, and those that do may not be compatible with Quest and Quest 2. Try a different Roblox environment if you don’t see the VR option in the in-game settings panel.
You’re using a beta or ancient version of Roblox: Try uninstalling Roblox and reinstalling it from the Roblox website. If you have the ability, installing the software as an administrator may also be beneficial.
Steam VR may be required: Use Steam VR to complete your quest. Use the instructions above to connect your Oculus Quest or Quest 2 to your PC, but run SteamVR before proceeding to step 15. Once Steam VR is up and running, you can launch any Roblox game you want, and it will immediately launch in VR mode on your Quest.
